This morning I finished up my California paramedic license application (including getting finger printed for the background check) and got it all in the mail. I was on the fence about sending the application in until I saw the actual pay scale for the job in San Francisco, which is starting: 81,000, After 1 year: 90,000, and after 2 years: 99,000! The cost of living may be hire, but if we lived in an apartment together for a couple of years and saved money and then got any help from your family with a down payment, buying a house would be reasonable (as long as we are willing to live in a smaller house in maybe not the perfect neighborhood, but still in San Francisco!). Once I got the stuff in the mail, I headed down to Monmouth to visit with my grandparents and my brother. My brother and I went out to lunch and got some groceries and had a really nice visit. Then I spent the rest of the time just talking with my grandpa and grandma; they really want to see you again and asked so many questions about you! Then I drove back to Portland and got home right around 10pm, parked, ran down to the bus stop, and rode down to the Thirsty Lion to watch John's band play. A whole bunch a guys from the fraternity were there and I got to catch up with a lot of them (one guy named Tim is moving to Oahu on Monday and offered his spare bedroom anytime we could make it!). Then Lucas and Zack came by so I visited with them for a bit. Once John finished playing, he joined us and then Johnny drove us back to my place and he stayed on the couch. It was nice to just get to sit and talk to Johnny for a while, reminded me of high school. I did not post last night because we did not get to bed until 4am, loads of fun! Love you Paige!

Hey boo
Glad to see your posts! I`m at a beautiful hostel called SueƱo de la Campana. I got really really sunburned at a lake last week and it still hurts so bad. I have blisters on my side, back, arms and chest. It´s terrible. But hopefully I´m on the mend. Keep writing!
