Day 1

Hi Paige (and everyone in blogger land), welcome to my blog! For everyone besides Paige, my wonderful girlfriend (who is Paige, if that was not clear) began six weeks of traveling today to Denmark and then Nicaragua (three weeks each with only one day in between trips). I plan to use this blog to share my thoughts and daily happenings with my Paiger (and who ever else cares to read). So now without any further ado, here is day 1!

After I dropped you off at the airport, I drove around looking a Portland for a bit. I can't lie that I was tad bit depressed. I love spending time with you and it really sunk it just how long you are going to be gone. In the end, I got really excited thinking about how much fun you are going to have and how much we will have together once you get home! Once I got home (after a pit stop at Panda Express), I cleaned up the joint because it was becoming a little bit of a pig pen and then I hit the books. I read as much as I could, but I had to take a break for dinner and do something fun. So I called Matt and Logan and we went to the Cheesecake Factory together. It was fun and I stuffed myself including eating a piece of chocolate coconut cheesecake that was awesome; we will share a piece once you return. On that note, I weighed myself and it said 197. So, tomorrow beings the eating healthy/doing some form of exercise every day stuff; I will keep you posted. After dinner, I went back home and hit the books again (I had about 100 pages of reading, a 15 minute quiz, and a discussion reply that I had to get done tonight!). Finally, I am done and I did all right on my test (8 out of 10, but I am arguing one of the questions). Then I took a shower and created this whole blogger thing. I plan to include lots of pictures (with tonights being an obvious choice), because as they say, pictures are worth a thousand words and well, that would be a lot of extra typing. Well, It's getting really late and I have to get up early for work, so I better get to bed so that I can serve the citizens of the coast tomorrow on some sleep. I hope that your flight went well and that you get settled into you apartment quickly. Until tomorrow...Love you Paige!
